Kia Sorento turbodiesel impresses in Vairano track test

The June issue of Quattroruote, available in print since June 1st and already accessible in the Digital Edition, puts the spotlight on the road test of the Mini Cooper S: the fourth generation – in the modern era – of the British icon brings significant innovations particularly in terms of style and infotainment. Among the other cars tested on our Vairano track are the Kia Sorento, surprisingly powered once again by a turbodiesel engine (and we specifically tested that version), and the MG HS, a 4.61-meter sports utility vehicle with a good price-to-content ratio, along with the Jeep Avenger full hybrid and the Volkswagen T-Cross turbo petrol, facing off in a head-to-head comparison. A comprehensive comparison follows, based on data from the test center, among ten B-SUVs: in addition to the two mentioned, the lineup includes the Fiat 500X, Ford Puma, Nissan Juke, Opel Mokka, Peugeot 2008, Renault Captur, Suzuki Vitara, and Toyota Yaris Cross. In the News section, there’s an investigation into financing, often advantageous only for those offering them, and a report on the peculiar case of the proliferation of Polish license plates in Naples. The Previews, our insights into future models, are focused on upcoming Nissan models, while the Auto News section provides, among other things, coverage on what was seen at the Beijing Motor Show and an article on Maranello’s latest marvel: the Ferrari 12Cylinder.
