My name is DeAnn Keefer. I grew up in Oxford, MI.Throughout the years of my life for many different and personal reasons I had to learn to become resilient, grounded and have a lot of perseverance. I am an entrepreneur at heart. I started my own company in 2000 called Salt Of The Earth all natural products for the home and body eradicating all toxic chemicals out of my home and help to educate others on how to do so as well.I have hosted many vendor shows around the state and have had my products in many stores, as well as on Made In Michigans e-store.Changing ones life, one product at a time.Also, in 2000 I became a Licensed Massage Therapist, as well as doing several other spa modalities.Throughout my earlier career, I had a huge passion for working with the homeless, I was a housing coordinator helping to get hundreds of homeless throughout the state into homes. I was also a Client Advocate for a Domestic Violence shelter for years and facilitated a support group throughout the state of Michigan.Fast forward, I came into Lexington two years ago, fell in love with the town and the locals. I bought a cottage and the beautiful historic bank from 1882 and turned the main floor into Salt Of The Earth Event Center, for weddings, bridal showers, business meetings, baby showers, church events, artist pop ups, vendor shows, photography shoots, mental health awareness events, veterans events, raised money for local organizations as well. The sky is the limit.The second floor I turned into Sage and Wildflowers Airbnb. I have been blessed to have hosted many families throughout Michigan, and out of state.Let me be your host in an incredible building that is undeniably unforgettable.
